Transfer your prescriptions to Nova Pharmacy.

Welcome to Halifax (or to us)! Tell us where your prescriptions are now and we'll do the rest. We contact your old pharmacy, arrange the transfer and confirm with you. It's free and usually takes 1–2 business days.

About you
What we'll call you when we talk to you.
Optional. Helps us get it right.
How we'll address you.
Sensitive and optional. Asked only for medication safety.
Format varies by province. Letters and numbers are both fine. Your home province's health card covers doctor visits, not prescriptions here. Having your card number speeds up setup.
Your current pharmacy

This is where your prescriptions live right now: the pharmacy you used at home.

Medications to transfer

List what you take. Not sure of everything? That's fine, your old pharmacy has the full list.

Insurance (private / student plan)

If you have private insurance (through a parent, employer, or a student union plan), we'll bill them directly so you pay less (often nothing) at the counter.

University students: if you're at a Halifax university, you likely already have a student health plan through your school or student union. Many students don't realize they're covered. Select your university below so we bill the right plan (Dalhousie and King's bill a little differently).
Pickup & urgency
Optional. Tell us when you'd like it ready.

Your information is only used to arrange your prescription transfer and is treated confidentially. Read our privacy note.
